Chow Memory Cushion

I received a gift of a t-shirt with a photo of my 'Three Bears' Rufus, Jodi & Mulberry printed on it....sadly it was too small. I asked Mandy if she had any ideas as to what could be made from it. She created this beautiful patchwork cushion. I was delighted. Her patience, patchwork and sewing skills are second to none plus she has such a good eye for selecting the most appropriate patterns & colour schemes to go with the subject. I am so thrilled to have this lovely keepsake as a constant reminder of my three Chow-chows who are now in 'doggy heaven'.

"This beautiful quilt was lovingly made by Mandy. Not in this case as a memory but as a gift for me to take to Canada.
Ruth, the recipient of the quilt, was thrilled. She loved the colours and materials used and really appreciated the quality of the work that had gone into the making of it.
The quilt could be used in so many places. The favourite at the moment is placed over the back of a dining chair (as picture shows) where it is admired by everyone.
Although the quilt was made & designed by Mandy to be a gift, it would also make a treasured ‘Sweet Memory Keepsake."

"Mandy created a beautiful teddy bear from one of my late husband’s fleecy lined work shirts.
It has given me an enormous comfort knowing I have something of my husband’s that I can still cuddle up to.
Mandy has such a creative flair & I would recommend Sweet Memory Keepsakes to anyone."

"Mandy surprised me on my birthday with a beautiful hand crafted grey patchwork oblong cushion, which incorporated a photo of Oscar, my gorgeous Doberman, at the heart of it.
I keep it on my bed and will treasure it for years to come."

Made in honour of our very special & much loved Senior Clerk of Works, Belle, who passed away recently. However, we have no doubt she is still overseeing our operation from the Rainbow Bridge! Sweet dreams Belle-boo.
