QUILTS
A hand sewn quilt brings joy for years and is a wonderful piece to pass down from one generation to another. Create it with the love of a sentimental fabric and it becomes all the more special.
We can create three different styles of quilt, offering varied styles and designs.
Quilt 1
This is our standard quilt made from squares of a uniform size, although we can give prominence to a particular fabric or part of a garment if instructed. It is backed by a warm fleece material, either in cream or light grey to suit the supplied material for the decorative front. We can supply different colours on request. This quilt is suitable for a wide variety of fabrics.
Quilt 2
This is our basketweave quilt, where rectangles of the supplied material are bordered by a cream or light grey cotton fabric along with a cream or light grey backing of warm, fleece material. This quilt is suitable for a wide variety of fabrics.
Quilt 3
Is our ragged quilt, where the seams are exposed. These quilts are backed by cotton flannel, with an additional mid-layer of cotton flannel to give their unique look. Both these layers are in cream or light grey to suit the material supplied for the decorative front. This quilt is only suitable for cotton or cotton polyester fabrics.
